Assassin's Creed - Mirage
During the Story of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla we come across an Assassin , more known as a “Hidden One” , named Basim. During Valhalla’s Story we don’t get to know much about his Past and this is where Mirage comes in.
Mirage takes us back to when Basim was just a common street thief before he became a Hidden One thanks to his Master / Mentor , Roshan.
Gameplay wise Mirage takes us back to before Assassin’s Creed Origins. Without the Power Levelling gear and such.
Compared to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which took over 100 hours to complete all side missions and collect all collectables, Mirage took only about 30 hours.
This as a result of choosing to go back to the old Assassin’s Creed style games. Mirage was never meant to be a stand-alone game but instead it was meant to be a Valhalla DLC to explain to the players who Basim Ibn Ishaq actually was.
We won’t be going into detail to avoid Spoilers for those still having to play the game as we respect our fellow gamers.
I’d highly recommend Mirage to anyone craving the thrill the old Assassin’s Creed games had to offer. With its back-to-basics approach this is a successful first step in the right direction. Thanks to such a decision Mirage is giving us the same excitement the earlier games gave us so long ago.
But what do you think of the game ? Are you aiming to Complete it and get 100% ?
Are you looking forward to the next Assassin's Creed rumored to be set in Japan?
